Although evidence confirms the presence of bone-working workshops operating at the site, bone and bronze hairpins are represented in nearly equal proportions. Furthermore, eight hairpins were discovered within the fort, which, along with other pieces of jewelry, suggests the presence of women in this military context.

Roman Hairpins from Călugăreni / Mikháza Marisia.
